Well, on Friday October 25th, Roy, I and another gal jumped in the car and dashed for the border. The border that is between Tennessee and Kentucky. You see there was a Southern Belle Social being called by one of the loveliest people I know, Talia Bluegrass. We HAD to go as did lots of other people from all over. We make some new friends, meet some people that I definitely enjoyed but honestly I am the world's worst at times. Sorry girls!!!
Girls that we got to meet again were Emma who we know from a chat room and meeting at SCC two years now. Talia, of course. Miss T (or Tommie) that I have talked to for literally years and have had in our home for a visit. A girl I am in a couple clubs with who is rather shy but a real delight to talk to nonetheless.
What did we do at this social? Well most of us met at the Hotel....where we all were staying. We partied laughted and had great time there. Then the "public" part of the event happened. A wonderful meal at a place called Rudyard Kipling. A sort of alternative restaurant but very laid back and nice. Following this, we went to the Connection where some of us saw part of the show while others gossiped and general visited and/or danced. We picked up new people with every stop, btw, resulting in about 18 persons attending this social all together. Not all of them were Southern Belle's, some of them were just girls from the local support group that were gracious enought to join in and just have FUN.
We decided, those of us that were staying at the hotel, to go back to the hotel about 2:00 I think it was and have a PJ party. Just a time to cut up and have a good time together.Well, enought of the talk talk talking, here are the pictures.(smile)
