the night of Dec 12, 2009 at Purple Heys Cookeville
Ok, last night was the night..the night, that is, of the drag show to raise money for Kids with Aids. Have no idea how things went on the fund raising front, understand it was pretty good. But then that fiqure may not be known for a while since some of it was an auction of some crafts donated. I know that I contributed in one way or another about 10.00 dollars, plus, as I like to say, I was there to support the activities..if only to give another performer time to get ready. LOL
A lot of the pictures are my "wild range of emotion" during the song "What the World Needs is Love" by Wynona Judd...and oldie but one I have recently gotten into. Of course some of my emoting probably looks silly on camera but it is still part of the process.
However, personally I had a good time. First of all, I got to be with Sabra again, something that happens very rarely anymore, but was almost weekly for years. Either she was doing a show, or we both were, or we were both just hanging out in the same bar.
And finally what was even more fun than any of the things mentioned before is that at least 3 guys showed an interest. Ok, so one was interested in everybody in the bar...and the second just winked and the third just stared till I spoke and then just drifted off. But hey, that was SOME interest..LOL. The guy in the picture, I have known for 18 or so years...and yes he is whispering sweet nothings, of some variety, in my ear, I think. He seemed fascinated by my cologne, however, so he may have been trying to lick it off my neck...but you know what..I dont care...it was still fun. I mean sometimes I LIKE to be treated as a sex object and wish to be treated that way more often than I am...(grin)
