Well, another year, another bowling tournament, another trip to Louisville Ky. Normally it has been the Valentines day weekend but this year it was the week after. Of course I had to call a social (smile).
This was a trip with some problems but still on Saturday night it was time to go out. Unfortunately I had had a brain lapse, but FORTUNATELY, Roy had the presense of thought to call to Rudyard Kipling to make sure we had a reservation of some sort. Good thing he did too, cuz not only had they been slammed by a wedding party but they normally close their kitchen at 10pm. Whew, what a great establishment, they actually HELD the kitchen open for us to be able to order food and enjoy it. They couldnt have been nicer.
In addition to myself and Roy, there were 3 SBS members from Kentucky: Cindy Lee, Katherine Collins (apparently my long lost and much younger and slimmer sister..lol) and Cris Fox. In addition there were several girls from the local support group (Sienna) and all were a delight. We must have sat and talked for hours.
Oh and in additional to all that, I got winked at by the cab driver....a much younger Arab Gentleman of obviously refined taste..(grin)
