Well, there are two ways of looking at it. Either I got stood up OR circumstances intervened to make it impossible for the guy I was meeting to get there. I perfer the latter theory. In any case there were "circumstances". The plan was to check out Blue Gene's and then go to Angelica Devil's Jungle. The problem is I found out just before leaving to go out that Angelica's has closed so that just left Blue Genes, which he said he had never been too, and which is in an area where it is hard to find a safe parking spot. Sooo, until I find out differently, I am going to assume something came up, or he tried and just couldnt make it.
In any case, I ran into Julie Phillips and her SO, Mr. Wonderful and was able to catch up on some things. It is always a pleasure to talk with Julie who, besides being so beautiful which I hate her for of course, is very entertaining and friendly. She knows EVRERYBODY and is just a delight. So it was that I spend about 2 hours at the bar and came home, feeling that I had had a nice night at the club. (oh and thanks Mr Wonderful for the pictures...you were so sweet to let me browbeat you into taking them...smile)
