Mary of Iowa announced that she was coming to Nashville and asked that I do the "local coordinating. I therefore scheduled a reservation at the Tribe for dinner, ordered a cake (also from the Tribe) to celebrate her birthday and called on Sabra to schedule me a booking at the Jungle for this night.
Altought things were a bit hectic before hand, with girls RSVP'ing and then canceling and my redoing of the reservations from 12 to 8, it turned out that 12 persons assembled on Saturday June 19th at the Tribe for Dinner and birthday cake. I left a lot of the "hostess" duty to Mary and just kept things on track and talked to those sitting closest to me and just relazed a bit.
Those in attendance included several from out of town, 3 or 4 from in, including 2 Tennessee Vals girls that I have never seen before. It was quite a turnout and we did indeed have a good time. I especially enjoyed Daphnie and her SO Claudia and their son Josh. Wonderful people!! I hope to go down to the Chattanooga area sometime and see them.
