I love to travel especially when I have the chance to meet and renew acquaintance with some wonderful fun girls and guys and just party down. And that is what I got an opportunity for on Jan 24 and 25.
I drove up another girl from my area that was going to the house party, as I dont handle driving along very well, especially for long distances. I expected Roy to say he would perfer I stay home unless he could go..and he could not. However he actually insisted that I go on one provision....that I get lots of pictures for him to see and enjoy. Oh my, what a chore. (giggle)
Well we left early Friday morning and drove up to Cincinati. We checked into the hotel to get dressed and go on over to Emma's. This was a real "five star hotel". They were so particular about what kind of wash clothes they gave their customers that they didn't manage to find any good enough for us before we checked out on Sunday even though we asked for them almost as soon as we got there. Such service..LOL
Both Friday and Saturday's events were at Emma's. She and her lovely wife Ruth served the most deliscious food. Very elegant and were the most cordial hostesses one could ever expect. This left us free to enjoy ourselfs and the others of the about 20 people that had traveled in from all over the place..from Connecticut to Georgia (Atlanta).
On Friday night, I mostly did pictures of me with the lovely art that is up on the walls of Emma's home as backdrops. I made myself "part of the art" so to speak. Plus I was tired from the trip and kinda wanted to relax and be quiet. Saturday, I was a bit more energetic and ventured around a bit more to take pictures with various people. There were too many for me to list here so i will simply put in alt phrases on those pictures that include other people to tell who they are. Just pass your cursor over the picture. Remember they were all delightful and it was a wonderful time for all of us. Oh, and with most of them I tell where they are from, but not on all of them. I mean why repeat it over and over. LOL The pictures of us lined up on the sofa is for a "award" ceremony. I got a prize for something or other..LOL. All prices were made in Cincinati...mine being a box of Candy. JUST what I need. LOL!!!!
Oh btw, there are a few people that I could have sworn I had a picture taken with but didnt find it....sorry girls..especially Miss T of Ohio. Another of the wonderful friends from the internet that were there.
