Well, once again in February of 2002 myself and my roommate Roy journeyed to Louisville Ky for a bowling Tournament. Roy is a very enthusastic bowler and loves to participate in the Blue Grass Classic every year. I, alto having quite bowling due to back problems, went along to be a cheerleader. Imagine me in a cheerleader costume and pom poms. Scary thought huh..LOL
It was our intention to have a Southern Belle Social while in Louisville...on Saturday Feb 9. However this did not pan out..it seems that everybody that was interested (and there were several) had a conflict of one kind or another. It turned out to be myself and Roy out partying for the evening. And party we did. The show at the Connection is without parellel. Hurricane Summers is the funniest and all around best entertianer I can remember seeing in quite some time. The other bar we went to was Triangle's. While this is a strongly MALE bar, they were very very cordial. One of the bartenders was very sweet to me and gave me a specially selected band of beads. Also right across the street is a shop run by a T named Randi. She has everything in there...a must see.
Alto we couldnt take very many pictures at the Connection..(they have strong rules protecting everyone's privacy) we did manage some. And of course, who could stay in a grand ole hotel like the Seelbach without takeing some pictures. One of my dreams btw is to have a picture with me and Hurricane..that had to be delayed as I consider it rude to just snap pictures...and didnt get a chance to get it oked first. Anyway, another time perhaps.
The first 5 pictures are from the Connection, the remainder from around and about in the Seelbach. If you click on 'em, you get the bigger view in a seperate little window. I have discovered that on occasion instead of that window popping up on top...it comes up behind the main window. I dont know why this happens or I would fix it. As of now, the solution seems to be to just minimize the big window and look at the small then X it out and come back to the main page again. Sorry.
