For several months now we have been hearing that the Jungle would reopen soon. Then for about a month to 6 weeks it was in the paper. Well, within the past week, it re-open...on Charlotte Av. It is twice the size, better sound system, better bar, restaurant next door for daytime patrons....and food in the bar in the evenings. While there was some food in the old bar, Jim promises to emphasis the food more now.
Anyway, it should be obvious that we would have to go out the first weekend that it was open (well, ok so it reopened about a weekend ago, but we were not able to be there THEN. It is lovely, as you can see in the pictures a huge sofa, very comfy. Also a big screen TV for those of you who like visual entertainment, and a rather sizable (at least compared to the old place) dance floor. The people are basically the same...all sorts of lovely eccentrics, including myself (Hehe). And eye candy as well. In one of the pictures,you will notice a shirt in the background. He was a very handsome person, probably not interested in little ole me..but certainly "not hard on the eyes"..wow.
NEXT friday, March 11th, is going to be the GRAND opening...so you can bet I WILL be there for that. (smile)
