Roy was a constant there for the Transgendered community. Not only was he an admirer but he was a true supporter and defender and he always managed to cross the lines of all of the "political divisions" within the community. Whether one was a "weekend warrier" or a fully transitioning TS, if he was your friend, he defended you till Death...his own. NOBODY insulted or sneered at his friends in his presense and failed to experience the wraft of Roy. That was even more true of me as I was his SO.
