Well, I had a blast in New Orleans, as I knew I would Only problem is that I had to come back home, and of course was worn out. So worn out, in fact, that I had to take Monday of this week (ie the 24th) off in order to rest up. Sigh...but of course I wouldnt have these pictures up except for that.
I had a habit while in New Orleans, and that was to take pictures before leaving the room. I used that to make sure my makeup was right, or worked anyway. And some of these pictures were of "pre" ie before I put some finishing touches on...for example the two of me in blonde were just in the room. I decided that I looked better in the darker, curlier hair.
The pictures not in the room were of many things. I did everything from dine out (several times)...enjoying it each time to going to Audubon and City Park (both huge parts btw) and having some pictures taken. I dressed casually (at least for me....casual for me is still pantyhose and a dress, but not as short, and maybe flats instead of high heels....lol).
Additionally, there is a picture of Carolynn, who was the bartender at Le Roundup, a dive that I love...but then you all knew I was a bit sleazy, didnt ya? LOL
Oh and of course, I went to a play (a send up of Aunt Mame) with the star being Varla Jean Merman so, as I met her once before, I had to have a couple of pictures. Dont miss any opportunity to see her, and if in New Orleans go to Le Chat Noir (the Black Cat) because they do incredible send up type plays and judging by the one I saw they are FABULEOUS!! Great fun.
