In August in 2004 on a night when I had no desire to go out, an artist came to visit. It seems he was in the area and doing a study of the Transgendered. He has been featured for some time at Kodak.com and so when friends called to say; he was looking for T-girls to photograph and did I want to be one of them...the answer was a resounding YES.
He had a "home made" camera. It was one of the old fashioned kind where there are plates of negatives and a hood that the photographer looks thru. He was very genial and I am glad I did it (he even rearranged furniture and put it back...even vacuuming for us under where the couch had been)..a truely nice guy. However, the colored version of the pictures were a bit TOO real...every blemish screamed ...not what a girl wants..LOL However, converting them into certain "channels" or "grey tones" digitally did a world of improvement on them. Btw there was one colored one that was acceptable..and it is included here.
Anyway, If he ever comes out with a book featureing some of the pictures he took of me, I hope that it is a black and white exhibit..LOL But really, it was fun to do.(in case you are wondering, yes, some of the pictures are the same ones...just with different "treatments")
