If you are one of those people that want a meaning in every movie...a "lesson to be learned, the only lesson you will get from this movie is that you dont always get a lesson.

However, if you have been jonsing for the days of camp movies in the vein of John Waters, you will find that this is a masterpiece. There is a plot, a strange, somewhat twisted one, but one non-the-less. Basically however, this movie is a showcase for music, and lots, and I do mean lots of campy reactions. There are more than more than enought sideways glances, nervous biting of lips, gasps, and poises to make you check the movie credits to make sure that John Waters wasnt after all involved in the creatiion of this film. He wasnt.

Kandis Kayne, who plays on Dirty Sexy Movie on television, serves as good arch-villian opposite Starbooty played by RuPaul. There is plenty of sex, and specifically male genatalia in this film. It is a movie about prostitues after all, and of course that requires Johns, and big hair and tacky outfits...something Rupaul and company do with flair. And yes, there were some great looking guys in the film as well. Oh and speaking of sight jokes, dont miss the ending kiss scene and the pullaway...priceless!!

Bottom line, dont go to this movie is you are easily offended by obscenity or nudity as there is plenty of both. Primarily however, dont go looking for a really deep plot. It is primarily a vehicle for RuPaul and some of the other characters in it to pose, quip, dance, and serves as a good excuse to hear some fairly good music and most of all, to rehear some classic Rupaul "give-a-way" lines.
