The name of this movie is actually "Surrender Dorothy" (1998). It is a fairly "dark" movie and not necessarily to everyone's liking. In fact, it kind of was on the fringe for me.

The plot involves two men who end up living together. They are both sort of nor do wells. One of them is a low level criminal who has just about run out of friends that are willing to "bail him out" of the various jams he gets himself into. The other is a socially inept man who is afriad of women, but not of the other guy. In fact, with him, he sort of takes over, and recreates him the way he wants him to be...or rather HER to be.

Yes, this is a transgendered movie of sorts...albeit more specificaly a "forced feminization" movie. Altought that is not really my scene, I did find the exchanges between them to be interesting and thought provoking. Altought "Dorothy" was, to all appearances, reluctant to go down this path, I was left wondering if in some way he/she actually desired it also.

Again, I dont necessarily recommend this movie to everyone..but those of you that like to "step outside the normal" every now and then, try it, you might like it. :)
