This Movie, "Get On the Bus" was filmed in 1996, about a year after the Million man march and features Ossie Davis, Charles Dutton, Andre Braugher, and is directed by Spike Lee. It presents the story of between 15 and 20 black men's efforts to get cross country to the million man march.

This movie illustrates the fact that regardless of how much a group of people have in common, they have areas where they disagree...even violently. Each person in the ensemble has to overcome, or at least come face to face, with their own prejudices and inhibitions. I recommend this movie as a must see, not just due to racial issues involved, but also to any member of any "minority" or even the mainstream culture. It has a lot to say to all of us.
